Firstly think about or even write down exactly what you are expecting when you get back to work. This helps you face any apprehensiveness and allows you time to come to terms with returning to normal living.
If you work full time find out whether you can go back part time. Think about either shorter days or less days.

Think about either shorter days or less days.
Think about the people you work with and the actual tasks/activities you do.
Do you feel comfortable going back to the same environment?
Are the tasks/activities you do too strenuous when you return to work at first?
Do you need to ask for a change in role for a short time until you regain your 100% level of strength? Is this possible? Ask?
