My Story - Introduction
The following story is a snapshot of my life over a very traumatic three year period running up to my 40th year. This snapshot has been written to help other people and to show that there is normal life after cancer including going back to work, studying, looking after a family and having fun like everyone else.
This story by no means intends to disregard any feelings that you, your friends, relatives or colleagues may experience as a result of experiencing cancer at close quarters. This is simply my view. It is me sharing my feelings whilst going through a life changing experience.
I would like to thank all my family and friends for being the most important things in my life. I would also like to thank you for allowing me to share my experience and hope that positive thoughts are transported into your mind after reading this clip. A little saying my father said to me often will hopefully help your positive thoughts:-
'Life's battles are not always won by the strongest or fastest man but the man who wins is the one who thinks he can'. |
